I've always wanted to play the piano, but never had the funds, time, etc. when I was a kid. This is something I really wanted to try, so I started lessons with Ms. Rose when I was 18. Taking this on as an adult was different. I had work and school to work around, and Ms. Rose was always so understanding when I said I need more time or practice. Before every lesson she'd ask me how I was doing, and I was not afraid to say I'm stressed, but doing well. Ms. Rose was so patient and lessons with her were ALWAYS the highlight of my week. I would 100% recommend Fife Music Studio to anyone wanting to play piano or flute. You are never too old to try something new!!

My three kids all took lessons with Rose — one flute, two piano. In addition to being a wonderfully kind teacher, she was a good friend and positive role model. They all flourished under her instruction. I also loved that giving back to the community was a big part of who she is, and cherish the recitals at the local nursing home and church. I was hoping to take piano lessons from her when my last kid started college, but my loss is Duluth’s gain. She really is a treasure.

Ms. Rose is wonderful! My sons took piano lessons with her for 6 or 7 years combined, from the age of 6, and they loved their time with Ms. Rose. She is patient and works magic with high energy boys. She makes learning an instrument fun with the right amount of challenge for your child depending on your child’s needs and personality. My boys are very different, so her ability to do this was really clear for our family. One is extroverted and a performer and the other very introverted and shy in front of others….yet she could meet them both where they were at perfectly to help them learn and grow musically. She’s amazing and we cherish the time she spent with our boys. You can’t go wrong with Ms. Rose!

Rose is such a caring and talented teacher! She, of course, is a fantastic flautist and pianist. But she also has a great skill for teaching and helping our beginner flutist gain greater mastery of the flute and the confidence to perform!
