Fife Music Studio Policies
Hello and welcome!
Whether your goal is to have incredible technique, a better sound, or to play music for yourself, friends and family, I’m here to help! We’ll tailor your lessons to help you reach your musical goals. To help us in this process, here are my studio policies:
LESSONS: If your goal is progress of any kind, try to practice at least 5 times/week. If it’s a busy week, just do what you can! Consistently playing something is better than nothing. Please bring your music and notebook for assignments to every lesson. (And your flute if that is your instrument.)
TUITION (September to May): Tuition is due at the first lesson of the month for the entire month. Late fee for any payment later than the 10th--$5. Please contact me for current studio tuition. I take cash, check, or VenMo (friend me first, it's easier @Rose-Fife-1).. Payment is due at the beginning of the month for the full month.
TUITION (June to August): Tuition is due for only the number of lessons that you would like to have that month, indicated by emailing me the list of days you would like lessons, (at your regularly scheduled time). If you cannot come, do not sign up for that week and you do not have to pay for that lesson. Tuition is still the same amount and due at the beginning of the month. You must schedule 3 lessons in this 3-month time frame in order to keep your day/time spot.
CANCELLATIONS/ SICK POLICY: If you must cancel, please give me as much warning as possible. Cancellations made more than 24 hours in advance will be offered a makeup lesson if there is a time available. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice, missed or forgotten lessons will not be made up. Please have respect for my time by not scheduling
doctor, dentist, hair, etc. appointments during your scheduled lesson time. And PLEASE be fever and vomit-free for 24 hours before coming to your lesson.
EXIT POLICY: When you have decided to discontinue lessons, two weeks notice is requested. Thank you!
